Named client projects in the Bitcoin mining sector include the full electrical build-out of DMG Blockchain's 85 MW facility at Christina Lake, British Columbia: the turnkey scope covered 24 custom-built 2,500 kVA unit substations, a dedicated control center, high-voltage underground cabling, and warehouse electrical distribution across the 33-acre site. Boundary Electric also supplied custom power skids and splitters to Bitfury's cryptocurrency mining operations in Alberta. The company has separately shipped more than 150 one-MVA modular data centers to oilfield operators across North and South America, enabling Bitcoin mining fueled by stranded flare-gas energy.

In October 2025, Boundary Electric opened a newly renovated and expanded manufacturing facility in Grand Forks, adding approximately 100,000 square feet of production space to support increased transformer fabrication output.
