Infrastructure
Business Description
SATOKIE Partners LLC, founded in 2022 and headquartered in Texas, develops and operates energy-backed digital infrastructure across Bitcoin mining co-location, AI data center development, and oil-and-gas digital midstream, with active sites in Oklahoma, Texas, and Mississippi.
Three co-founders lead the company: CEO Jay Zapata, COO Shyke Lowers, and EVP of Field Operations Omar Alatorre, with Facility Manager Adrian Alatorre supporting at the site level. From an early 5 MW Bitcoin mining facility in West Texas, SATOKIE has expanded to 10 managed sites with 648 MW of deployed power capacity. COO Shyke Lowers discussed the company's operational approach on episode 038 of the HashrateUp Bitcoin mining podcast, detailing how SATOKIE runs 186 MW of concurrent mining sites, covering infrastructure design, on-site team management, technician training, and fault diagnostics. SATOKIE currently reports 96% average uptime. Its 62-person workforce actively recruits U.S. military veterans and manages the full infrastructure lifecycle from site selection and substation coordination through facility build-out, equipment deployment, and ongoing daily operations.
The company organizes its business across four named service lines. The managed services division provides turnkey infrastructure management for institutional clients, covering power procurement, facility construction, equipment deployment, and day-to-day site operations. The energy and AI infrastructure development arm designs utility-aligned, high-density AI data centers with substation coordination and interconnection discipline built into each phase of megawatt deployment, targeting institutional-grade compute tenancy. The Digital Midstream division deploys modular compute infrastructure directly at producing oil and gas well sites, converting flared, curtailed, or pipeline-stranded gas into predictable revenue at the wellhead for producers and well owners. The Asset Management division operates as an owner-operator and investment steward across energy, land, power, and compute assets for institutional investors and strategic partners.
At its Enid, Oklahoma site, an air-cooled Bitcoin mining deployment, SATOKIE uses Giga Energy mining containers equipped with built-in pressure gauges, HMI visibility panels, and variable-speed fans, compatible with Bitmain's S21 XP and S21 Pro miners. Giga Energy ships hardware from its Los Angeles production facility to Oklahoma in approximately two days and serves as a primary infrastructure supplier across the SATOKIE portfolio. The company's site acquisition strategy centers on stranded-energy geographies and areas where grid capacity is underutilized.
Previously operating as Satokie Mining, the company rebranded to "SATOKIE, The Premium Energy & Compute Company" to reflect its expansion into AI infrastructure and digital midstream alongside its established Bitcoin mining co-location business. Its stated capacity growth target is exceeding 900 MW in total managed infrastructure, with greenfield deployments in stranded-energy markets as the primary near-term expansion path.
