Business Description

Umnus, a Moscow-based cryptocurrency mining company operating since 2016, has pivoted its primary digital presence to Umhost, a Russian-language SaaS platform for managing ASIC mining data centers, targeting hosting operators across Russia and the CIS.

The company's business lines span industrial mining operations and infrastructure software. On the operations side, Umnus runs two mining facilities, in Elektrogorsk (Moscow Oblast) and Sosnovoborsk, with a combined installed capacity of 46 MW drawing on hydroelectric and thermal power sources. The company also sells ASIC mining hardware directly to clients and offers turnkey hosting contracts, with clients placed as passive investors in operational mining infrastructure.

The Umhost platform, accessible at umhost.io (to which umnus.ru now redirects), provides data center operators with six integrated modules: real-time ASIC device monitoring with hashrate, temperature, and automated fault alerts; automated billing and flexible rate-plan management; monthly Russian Federal Tax Service (FNS) compliance reporting covering mined cryptocurrency volume and device operating hours; an operator-miner chat system; a Kanban-style task board for maintenance workflows; and a container-level environmental dashboard tracking temperature, humidity, fire-safety status, ventilation RPM, and energy draw. A companion miner-facing mobile app, Umhost App, available on iOS and Android, provides device dashboards, balance tracking, payment history, and FNS reports.

Umhost licenses on a per-device, per-month basis. The Standard tier, covering device monitoring, billing, FNS reporting, and technical support, is priced at 129 rubles per device per month, with a 14-day free trial supporting up to 1,000 devices. An enterprise tier adds a service-center module, interface customization, a dedicated account manager, and priority support. The Umhost Agent, a hub device that auto-discovers equipment on a container's local network, is available for 34,990 rubles outright or from 3,990 rubles per month.

Umnus holds IT-sector accreditation from Russia's Ministry of Digital Development and lists Rosseti, Mosenergo, Sber, EMCD, and btc.com among its named partners. Publicly filed 2022 financials show 246 million rubles in revenue against 2.9 million rubles in profit, on charter capital of 8.5 million rubles. Legally registered as ООО "Умные Устройства" (Smart Devices LLC) in April 2019, the company employs more than 50 staff from its Moscow headquarters.

Umnus is now primarily a B2B mining-infrastructure software vendor serving the Russian-speaking market. The domain umnus.ru forwards to umhost.io, and the company's 46-MW facility portfolio serves as an operational proof-of-concept for the management tooling it sells.
