Business Description
ElphaPex is the Scrypt ASIC mining hardware brand of FoundationLogic, a Singapore-headquartered fabless semiconductor design company that entered the market in January 2024 with its debut miner targeting simultaneous Litecoin, Dogecoin, and Bellscoin rewards.
FoundationLogic designs its ASIC chips in-house and brings them to market exclusively under the ElphaPex label. The product portfolio spans two cooling classes: air-cooled units (the DG1, DG1 Lite, DG1+, DG2, DG2+, and DG2 Mini) for home and distributed deployments, and liquid-cooled hardware (the DG Home 1 and DG Hydro 1) for environments where noise attenuation and high power density are operational priorities.
The DG1, the brand's inaugural model, delivered 11,000 MH/s at 3,420W (0.31 J/MH) on the Scrypt algorithm. ElphaPex announced the DG1+ at the Blockchain Life conference, raising output to 14,400 MH/s at 3,920W (0.28 J/MH) with 204 chips per hashboard across four boards, totaling 816 chips per unit. The DG2 generation expanded through multiple configurations, including a 16 GH/s variant at 0.22 J/MH, with the DG2+ reaching 20.5 GH/s at 3,900W and a published efficiency of 0.19 J/MH. The DG Hydro 1, launched March 2025, delivers 20 GH/s at 6,200W in a 25-kg chassis suited to rack-dense industrial facilities. For the entry segment, the DG2 Mini, released October 2025, produces 2.4 GH/s at 530W (0.22 J/MH) in a 4.5-kg form factor aimed at home operators.
Every ElphaPex model earns LTC, DOGE, and BELLS simultaneously through Scrypt merge mining, generating triple-chain block rewards at a single unit's energy cost. The company has structured its efficiency roadmap around reducing joules per megahash across generations, moving from the DG1's 0.31 J/MH to the DG2+'s 0.19 J/MH.
FoundationLogic built its public presence quickly through 2024. In June that year the company unveiled the DG Home 1, a water-cooled home unit rated at 2,000 MH/s and 620W, at Mining Disrupt 2024 in Miami to an audience of mining-industry insiders. In January 2025 ElphaPex exhibited at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, formally debuting the DG Home 1 at $1,999 to a mainstream consumer technology audience. Hardware reaches customers through a global reseller network including BT-Miners, CryptoMinerBros, and Apexto Mining, in addition to direct sales via the ElphaPex website.
FoundationLogic has not disclosed an external funding round. With the DG2+ and DG Hydro 1 as its current industrial-tier products, ElphaPex holds the broadest Scrypt hardware portfolio it has released to date, spanning from a sub-$2,000 home miner to high-density liquid-cooled rigs targeting commercial-scale Scrypt operations.
